MCLE Credit

The District of Columbia Bar does not have mandatory or minimum continuing legal education requirements, although its members are encouraged to engage in such continuing legal education as is necessary to maintain their competence to practice law.

D.C. Bar CLE classes are eligible for credit in all jurisdictions having mandatory CLE requirements. Restrictions may apply. The process for obtaining credits varies by state.

The D.C. Bar does not provide CLE accreditation for organizations’ courses or events. Since the D.C. Bar does not have mandatory CLE requirements at this time, there is no CLE accreditation body.
